Aaron and I have decided to start wearing ear plugs to bed so that we can try and let Jake start to cry it out at night. We are both exhausted from him getting up every 3 hours again. Last night worked good. He got up and had a bottle around 9:30 and was no worse for wear this morning at 6:45.
I feel bad doing this, but everyone (including his pediatrician) has told us we just need to let him cry. We are thinking that it has become a habit for him to get up and are hoping with a few days of not "rewarding" him for his middle of the night melt down sessions, he will start sleeping all the way through the night.
Morgan on the other hand, goes down around 7:15 and doesn't wake up until after 6. What a good sleeper. She can even sleep through Jakes middle of the night temper tantrums! Not sure how since they wake me up and I am on the other side of the house with the door shut and she is in the same room with him...I guess it is a twin thing!
Wish us luck!

Yep, Sam, you gotta do it! Ashley was the same way - just got in that habit. Sonny could sleep through it, but not me. He ended up holding me down in the bed so I wouldn't go to her. Eventually, it worked! But, hearing them cry is a bummer, isn't it??
Good Luck!
Oh & GO STEELERS!!
